PRACTICAL INFOS
The staff life, into Ywam-Guadeloupe, of course, is
rhythm by the principal activity, but also by team time (worship, intercession,
sharing, participation to staff conferences, etc.).
- Lodging:
Because Ywam-Guadeloupe is a pioneer work it doesn’t have any centre
for the moment. Therefore, we are in renting process of a great house.
A financial participation is demanding to the staff for his/her lodging.
- Finances & Insurance:
Youth With A Mission is only composed of voluntary
workers. Each staff is concerning by finding a financial support. They
do not receive any salary from the organisation.
Each staff is also concern by his/her social protection.
Following are some areas in witch you could inves
- DTS Staff:
To be a DTS staff is an enrich experience; it’s the
best environment to start learning how to lead, to work in
team, to be responsible. It’s a way to see DTS differently.
The most important: it’s a good way to reach the young
generation and to continue the adventure of your own DTS. Come
and join us quickly.
Conditions: having done a DTS + English and/or French notion.
- DTS Leader:
To lead DTS is a passionate and enrich ministry. To see God’s will accomplish in others’ lives and to
equip workers for the service, it’s amazing. If you
have on heart francophone, Caribbean, you’re the welcome one.
Conditions: having lead (or co-lead) a DTS + French and English notion.
- Translators:
This is a quiet ministry witch has a great importance. Ywam-Guadeloupe
needs to translate documents, either in French or in English.
This will permit us to overcome the language barrier. The
translation could be done as oral as scripture. (ex.: DTS
lecture, but also during the practical phases and other).
This is not a monotone activity, because you could also go
in outreach and live wonderful challenges’ time.
Conditions: having done a DTS + fluently speak French and English.
- Cooking:
Summer camps or youth camps used will tell you about it, you need
to be in good term with the “cook”.
You like cooking and serving, set meal, this place is yours.
Don’t wait to join us.
Conditions: having done a DTS + knowing how to cook for groups and having economic notion.
- Administrator:
It’s a key work! The administrator is the one who’s
looking for the good administrative functioning. The administrator
is concern to update the association regarding the French
laws. If you enjoy management, you are welcomed!
Conditions: having done a DTS.
- Secretary work:
Someone able to answer phone calls; deal with the e-mails,
mails, and deal with seminars. In short, someone polyvalent,
welcoming, who transmit her/his joy through phone calls.
Conditions: having done a DTS + French and English notions.
- Accountability:
If you like numbers, counting, additionning, substrate and
multiply, this place is good for you. Everybody knows how
much accountability is an important thing. A mission accountability,
as ours, could be and exultant challenge.
Conditions: having done a DTS, being a good manager.
- Hospitality:
This ministry is a quiet one, but has its importance. Didn’t
our God say: there’s more joy to receive than to receive.
If you are a joyful person, welcoming, creative, no doubt,
this is a place for you. So come and join us as soon as possible.

- Communication:
You enjoy new technologies, video, graphics or writing?
We need you to:
• deal with Ywam-Guadeloupe web site,
• do outreaches clips,
• do news letters, etc.
Conditions: having done a DTS + a good computer attributive.
- Praise & Worship, art, SBSCC school leaders:
We have on our heart to multiply and diverse our school of
UofN, so, if you have on your heart to start a school
of UofN in order to bless the francophone world, you are
welcome here, there’s room for you so come!
