« To
know God and to make Him known»: such a program
isn’t it? Through the Discipleship Training School (DTS),
during 6 months, all the things will be put together to focus
on leitmotiv: to better know God.
The
DTS is an unique experience which, people from different nations
(our school is bilingual French/English) will have the same passion,
gathered
to learn how to deep their intimacy with God our Father:
-
Through a family and friendly ambiance and also through teachings
(each week the theme and the teacher change),
- Worship time, intercession (you will discover several ways to do it, you
will enjoy it)
- And small groups.
But
there is also the discovering of new cultures, the happiness to see
God’s hand moving through us during the missionary trip.
In
few words this unique experience will definitely change your life
and increase your love for God our Lord. You won’t see the
thing like you did before.
Yes,
you goodly understand: the DTS is divided in two none separately
part:
Theoretical
part: «better know God»:
It’s
the time to have:
-
Teachings as: to be a disciple, God’s character, intercession,
mission, evangelism, the Cross, relationship and other theme.
- Quiet times, (one to one with God) each day.
- Small groups to exchange with the other students and staff about the strong
moment in the teaching and also to edify one another.
- Intercession full of creativities « full of fun ».
- Academic duties with books to read (little books report to do), biblical
character studies, verses to memorize, etc. Not too much work!!!
Practical phase « Make Him known »
It’s
time for departure to another nation, to give and share what
you received, through evangelism, sharing time, worship, intercession
and sometimes, depending on the destinations, humanitarian work.
During this time you will learn a lot about yourself and about what
God is expecting on you to do.
Back from this mission trip, we will have debriefing time together, before
receiving the certificate of the University
of the Nations of Youth With A
Mission. |
