Does the school only in French?
No, all our DTS are bilingual (French/English), lectures, small groups,
all is translated. In two languages it’s more riche...
How much time is the school?
The
school is about 6 months (in reality it’s between 5 ½ months
and 6 months) 12 weeks for the theoretical part and 10 to 12 weeks
for the practical one.
Could we do one?
No,
the two phases are none separately. You couldn’t do only
one phase.
Could we bring our music instrument?
Yes of course, you could bring your instrument with you, we will be
glad to have wonderful time in worship together and that will be a
plus for your quiet times.
Could we have another activity at the same time?
No,
the DTS demands a complete involvement. You won’t have enough
time to do another activity in parallel of the school.
Could we receive visits?
Yes,
of course, your friends or your family members could come and visit
you, you’ll have just to tell us about in order that we
could welcome them properly.
Do we have any roommate?
One
of the principles of the school is the community life. It’s
a real enrichment to share your room with others. During the school
the students will live the goodness of the community life. They won’t
be alone in their room.
Are the week-ends free?
No
really, sometimes in the (theoretical or practical), according to
the school program (evangelism, local church partnership, humanitarian
action) some week-ends won’t be free.
When do we know about the definitive destinations for the practical
phase?
Current of the second or third week of the school, the staffs propose
a destinations number and together in prayer we define where we will
go to. There could have several destinations accepted, according to
the number of students and staffs.
Do we receive any diplomat at the end of the school?
AT the end of the school, the students who succeed receive a certificate
of the University of the Nations of Ywam international.
What are the causes of failure your school?
Refusing
to accept God’s work in your life and having a bad
behaviour toward the community.
What are the things that make succeed your school?
For
us, the aspect of « knowledge » is as important as
the behaviour in and toward the community. The decision is taken, regarding
to those two aspects.
What are the possibilities after a DTS?
With the certificate, you could do whatever training at Ywam. You
could engage yourself at short or long term to Ywam. You also have
solid bases to be an effective member in your assembly, so the perspectives
are large; depending on what God placed on your heart to do.
