Youth With A Mission-Guadeloupe is part of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) International. YWAM international is an interconfessional movement started in 1960. This movement began with a young man of 20 years old named Loren Cunningham. He had a vision, he saw waves of young people rolling over all the continents to share the Gospel. Then he starts the DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Lausanne, Switzerland where the first base was. Ever since, YWAM has strongly develop and diverse to become a “family’s ministries” present in about 150 countries and gathering 17 000 co-workers.

In spite of its big diversity, Youth With A Mission ministry is turning around three axes :

- Evangelism: by spreading the Gospel.
- Training: preparation to the service.
- Humanitarian help: expression & communication of God’s love through a practical and material help.

Ywam-Guadeloupe it’s a pioneer work on the Island. We are the first missionary organization who proposes training, youth and kids camps, services opportunities. Unfortunately, this kind of propositions, for God’s people in Guadeloupe is almost not existing. Ywam-Guadeloupe wants to fulfill this need in order to mobilise and to equip the bigger part of the t workers in the harvest.

Ywam-Guadeloupe is part of Ywam international's dynamic and desire to contribute to spread the Gospel in the Caribbean. Our desire is to equip and to give services opportunities to the believers through our trainings.

Youth With A Mission is based on overage unpaid workers only. Whatever they are boss, staff members or volunteers, all co-worker in the movement should find their own financial support. They do not receive any salary from the organization.
