YWAM Guadeloupe vision |
Our Lord clearly invite us to spread the Gospel and to discipleship the nations (Mat. 28 18-20). Ywam-Guadeloupe took directly its resources in the obedience to Jesus declaration.
Ywam-Guadeloupe is committed to the collaboration with all the body of Christ, from whom it part, according to its call. Its desire is to share the Gospel, to transmit the values of Christ's message in each sphere of our society: family, Church, education, arts, sciences, government, communication, etc. We want to be a tool, between our God’s hands, for the reconciliation of Guadeloupean people with their God; but also for the restoration of its identity because of the island's cultural diversities. We believe, with God’s Kingdom values, that a restored and impregnated, Guadeloupean culture is essential for the Kingdom advancement. At last, we want to see the French Caribbean “better know God, to better make Him known” to the extremity of the Earth.
To realize this, our vision's focus are on those three bases :
- 1/ Evangelism: sharing the Gospel message. - 2/ Training: preparation to His service. - 3/ Humanitarian help & social action: showing His compassion.
1/ Evangelism :

From the beginning in 1960, Youth With A Mission focused on sharing the Gospel. Youth With A Mission has the desire to reach most people, whatever their age, origin or social condition; through Hope and Grace message witch is the Gospel. Spreading the Gospel will always be the focus.
STRATEGIES :
- Summer camps, - evangelism team, - evangelism with other association or Churches federations, - home-church planting, - King’s Kids, - Concerts.
2/ Training :

The harvest is huge! Let’s stand and train the most workers as we can! Ywam-Guadeloupe’s got the desire to mobilize God’s people (especially the young generation) for this huge harvest. We want to see God's people equipped to answer the call of God into their lives.
STRATEGIES :
- Summer camps, - King’s Kids camps, - DTS (Discipleship Training School), - diversity of the University of Nations schools (ex: Bible school, worship, communication, art, etc.), - Seminars (for singles, families, leadership, etc.) -Nights information's on mission (adoption of unreached people, etc…), - Music school.
3/ Humanitarian help & social actions:

Ywam-Guadeloupe wants to show God’s compassion toward the needed ones. Our societies are too often touch by the scourge of indifference. We want to make a difference in sharing God’s love to the weakest in this world. One of the biggest commandments, of God’s Word, is to love our neighbours, and Love is transmitted to acts.
STRATEGIES :
- listen to people and do food's distribution, - commitment to social association (fight against aids, helping rehabilitation of prisoners), - creation of mercy ministries (toward drogue addicted people, prostitutes, streets children, etc.)
To the nations

Last, Lord has put on our heart specific nations. Our desire is to send teams from Guadeloupe to create partnership with God’s people in each country the teams go; having the same purpose: to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ raised from the death, and always having those three focuses on our heart
- Cuba (pioneer work), - French Guyana (reach the tribes in the jungle), - France (evangelism, especially in the subway), - Haiti (help toward orphans, etc.), - Martinique (call out and bring, the youth of Guadeloupe, to think of the island sister) - Burkina-Faso (especially toward the street children “Garibous”).

This was in few lines, Ywam-Guadeloupe vision. Of course, all those objectives need to be fulfilled. Unfortunately, because this work is at the beginning , we do not live this entire vision yet. Therefore, we believe that we will live it soonly.
